Neighborhood Information for Hidden Valley

• What is it like to live in Hidden Valley, Santa Barbara CA? •

This very quiet, and tucked-away area, located roughly between Las Positas Road and Hope Ranch, is one of the lesser-known neighborhoods in Santa Barbara.
It will especially catch your eye if you love gardening. So many of the quaint front yards are lovingly cared for and are blooming in all colors. Tree-lined streets on flat terrain with sidewalks make it a very walkable neighborhood.

Homes

You can find condo and townhouse developments, including pools with clubhouses, in this neighborhood. However, there are predominantly single-family ranch and cottage-style homes, which contribute to Hidden Valley's warm, inviting and residential feel.

One of the more reputable senior living communities - Valle Verde - is located here. This is one of Santa Barbara's premier assisted living facilities. The impeccably maintained grounds on 65 acres blend nicely into this neighborhood setting.

Parks

The tucked-away Hidden Valley Park is a much loved and safe playground in town. Situated in a sunken location surrounded by bushes and trees, it is very protected and especially attractive for families with little kids.
All these elements provide a sense of safety in this neighborhood.

Another great park nearby is Elings Park. This is one of the largest and most versatile parks in Santa Barbara. With sports fields, playgrounds, hiking and biking trails, a paragliding and hang gliding training field and a remote-control car racetrack this park offers endless sports & recreational options. You can also visit one of the park's multiple events, or book a fun summer camp for your kids here.

Fun Fact:

Veronica Place is one of the highlights to see for festive and fun decorations during the Holiday Season. Residents on this street put so much effort into their Christmas decor - it is one of the much-anticipated stops during the Holiday Trolley of Lights tours.
