This area is situated on a few knolls connecting Santa Barbara with Montecito. Street names like Overlook Lane and La Vista Grande point to the amazing views  you can enjoy from this neighborhood.

Along the Alston corridor there are looping side streets, like Cima Linda Lane or Rametto Road with gorgeous view properties, overlooking a lush, almost tropical landscape with the Bird Refuge, the Santa Barbara Zoo and The Montecito Club. You may also enjoy city, harbor and ocean views from here.

The prominently displayed and phenomenally remodeled Montecito Country Club (pictured above) is an iconic and gorgeous piece of Santa Barbara architecture and features a stunning golf course with coastal and mountain views. With a membership here you can enjoy an active lifestyle and plenty of social gatherings with family and friends.

The open space at Hale Park with lots of Eucalyptus trees is part of this community as well. Its gentle climb and natural appearance is inviting for any Eucalyptus Hill resident. People enjoy bringing their dogs here for a lovely walk in nature.

Shopping & Dining

Shopping can be enjoyed in both directions, with the Montecito Country Mart and Coast Village Road options in Montecito. Or with the closest Santa Barbara grocery stores along Milpas Street. You’ll find Sprouts, Trader Joe’s and other shopping options here.

This area along the Milpas corridor is also known for its many taquerias with La Super Ricca probably one of its most popular ones.

As the legend goes, this casual joint had been one of Julia Child's favorite places to eat. The French cuisine visionary led this restaurant to fame and to this day it often has a long line out the door.
